| Weight loss suggestions: Always get your doctor involved. Get your blood count done (glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL & LDL, and others) and ask for physical exercise clearance. Input = Output: whatever food you bite, lick, and taste for the day have to equal the amount of physical exercise, movement, and training for that same day too. Drink at least eight cups of water daily. Just move, no matter how silly you think the movement you are about to do –just move the body. Move your body at least 30 minutes a day. Break it down in incremental if you wish: five minutes here, three minutes there, just as long as it end up being thirty minutes. If you end up doing five or one minute on that day, so what, you moved and that counts. You have to be easy on yourself. You probably have been hard on yourself for a very long time; try being loving and understanding to yourself. If you need ideas on movement, rent or buy an exercise DVD or look for an exercise TV program. There are tons out there. Look for something that appeals to you. Take a group exercise class. Ask for help. Talk to a trusted friend about how you want to start a weight loss program. Hire a coach or personal trainer. Perhaps what is holding you back in your weight loss is you. If there are deep mental health issues, speak to a licensed counselor, social worker, or therapist. The important thing is to reach out. Good luck to you. Lovingly yours, Pio |
